Big Hair Cut Tomorrow I need advice!!

Hey Everyone!

I'm going to get my hair cut tomorrow. I have a picture in mind, but I'm afraid to go short, because the last time I did, I was upset for months. I really want a change though. I love my hair the length it is, but it's getting hard to take care of, and I have a full load of classes next semester, so I want something easy, yet sophisticated and young. Here's a few pictures.

You're haircut already looks pretty similar to Jessica's!

You've got great shine, looks really healthy.

Don't get it hacked off unless you're totally sure its what you want. Last time I asked for four inches off I could just have kicked myself after.

The back of your hair is really long, I'm no hair dresser at all, but I think since your cut is already similar, wouldn't you only need to take a half inch or inch off the front (length only, not layers), and about 3 or 4" off the back ?

Thanks for the fast reply. The front and back are almost the same length. I let the next shorest layer besides the length out, and pushed the rest back.

I really want to get rid of all my layers. The are a PITA. I want something a little easier to style and what not.

I just colored my hair a week ago. It's kinda dry still, but thanks for the compliments! They mean a lot to me! =)

You could always just cut it one length around in the back, and leave a few angles around your face, so you get the 'layered' look from the front, but not the drying commitment /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I agree that your hair does look a lot like Jessica's already... only main difference is the length. But keep in mind that when you tell your stylist TWO inches... it really is TWO inches. So check it on a tape measure first before you give her the amt. you want off. You figuring the length of your thumb or half that is xxx amt. might only be half of what they'll really take off - so grab a ruler and make sure! lol /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks girls and guys for the comments!! I really do love it. I had a really bad experience the last time I went short, but I love it now. Much easier to style and manage!!
