Big curling iron scar on the back of my thigh by my butt HELP please!!

Can someone please help me out?! Two months ago I was curling my hair and I left the curling iron on a chair and accidentally sat on the curling iron. I Burnt myself. Leaving a huge ugly scar that I don't think will ever fade. Now I can't wear any of my shorts or bikinis. Can someone help me out and tell me any good creams that'll help this scar fade just in time for next summer so that I can wear my bikinis and short shorts in the summer again. Please help me out guys!

I've seen commercials on TV for creams that fade scars but I've never tried any.  The only tip I can tell you that was given to me is to put sunscreen on it to help it from getting any darker when you're in the sun.  Good luck, I hope you find something that works.
