Best types of wigs?

Hey guys. Please dont think im advertizing or anything.. I'm just really curious and have some questions on wigs.

I've been searching ebay for wigs & I've come across certain types:

Full skin top

Skin top parting (only skin top where the hair 'parts')

Mono top (transparent mesh)

I know that with 'full skin top' your scalp can't breathe etc.. but I'm concerned about the other 2 types.

With skin top parting/mono top... how easy it is to tell that you have a wig on?

Also, with mono top, since the mesh is transparent, won't my own hair show through? (it's cut pretty shortly at the moment).

And how secure is each type?

One last thing, with synthetic wigs, is it true that they're really "shiny" and it's easy to tell that it's synthetic?

Well I have had up to 30+ wigs over the last 5 years.... (have only 12 currently) just another one of my many obsessions... lol and have had a mix of different types... none of which stand out as being better than the other.... The quality and style are more important to me,,, and thay all fit secure (have adjustable elastic bands around the back). Good synthetics are a realistic as human hair and are not any more or less shiny. Nice thing about synthetics is they keep their shape and style (manufactured into them) and require very little maintenance... where as human hair wigs are just like real hair.

Also on synthetics you can't expose them to heat (curlers or blow drying) and they can't be dyed or colored)... but if you in a hurry... just fluff up and put on and go.... most of mine ate synthetics currently because I'm lazy. lol

Hey guys! Just an update

Karen thank you soooooo much for answering my questions. i ordered 5 wigs from ebay and they came today.

They look and feel stunning (synthetic). I'm so happy, i've been losing my hair because of stress and anaemia and it got me sooooooo self concious!

I'm ecstatic.
