I have oily skin but dehydrated, my cheeks are dry and peeling and itchy many times in a year/mostly in winters.

It's difficult to find a a decent cleanser to take away my face, not eye, mu.

Oils do not remove anything and I have to rub a lot and my skin gets irritated.

Cleansing water even though it takes away ALL the fndt and blush ,makes my dehydrated cheeks more itchy after the cleansing!

So I was thinking maybe a mousse type or a cleansing milk or a cream typeor a gel type, which I'm already using, Avene's Cleanace but it there's always left a little fndt on my skin, maybe other gels are better?

Any recs from pharmacy brands like La Roche Posay or Vichy? TIA

Well I think I have the same skin type as you...oily but dehydrated.

I swear by Ponds Cold Cream cleasner. I have never broken out from this stuff and it removes the most stubborn mu. Plus, after wiping it all away, it really leaves my skin soft and supple and NEVER dry, parched or irritated.

Ponds Cold Cream (original) is a thick, rich white cream in a tub. I personally, scoop out about 1/4 (of my palm) amount into my hands and then rub into my face. I make sure to rub throughly. Afterward, gently wipe off with tissue. You don't need to rinse. Some people like to follow up with a mild cleanser to take away any residue. Tone and treat face as per usual.

I use jojoba oil to cleanse.. just put some on a cotton bud and wipe it over a damp face. All my makeup comes off.. even mascara etc and my skin feels moisturised :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> x
