What is the best moisturizer for senstive skin? Right now I'm using Biore oil free moisturizer but it is not that great. I need something that keeps my face feeling clean and smooth and doesn't clog pores.

Hi,

Cetaphila makes a moisturizer. It also contains an spf15. Aveeno has a sensitive line and Oil of Olay Complete Defense Moisturizer does come in a sensitive formula and contains spf15.

Thanks for the replies. Because I'm using the Biore face wash, if I choose to use the aveeno moisturizer will it have an effect on my skin?

i used the body shop soy and calendula moisturizer. Good stuff.

I am not sure whether you have sensitive skin or very acne-prone skin (b/c you mention you want non-comedogenic products for your oily skin). It seems you may have very acne prone skin rather than sensitive skin, but of course i cannot judge just based on what you said. There is a huge difference.

Paula's Choice has many good articles on Sensitive Skin, just check out her Skin Care Facts.

The most important thing is that there is no fragrance, no plant ingrediants (very irritating) no alcohol or sulfates, and no AHAs (salacylic, lactic, alpha hydrox, etc.). Look based on those guidelines, b/c some skincare lines sensitive products are actually not very good for sensitive skin.

I have super sensitive skin and use Olay Complete oil-free and fragrance-free with spf 15 for sensitive skin.

I love Aveeno Moisturizer..I use different face wash. it never affect my skin.

I love oils. The most recent one I use is camellia oil which has been fantastic for my sensitive skin. It's gentle, helps with fine lines and acne scars and leaves my skin a nice healthy glow.

i love oils too! havent tryed camellia but i make my own mix of grapeseed, avocado, sweet almond and apricot kernel oils and use it instead of a nite cream. its very very soothing.

i vote for Cetaphil cream too also there's a product in Walgreens or CVS called Cerave. Both of these are super gentle and won't irritate sensitive skin.

I like RoC Enydrial Extra Emollient Cream. It is a thicker based cream, good for winter months and sensitive skin. Never irritated my face.

i also like Aveeno Moisturizer... it's fine to use different brands.... i use Neutrogena face wash and my face is ok.....
