Hey All!! I haven't been on here in quite some time. Okay, I'm going to need some advice. In December I had the ombre done, since then I have not had a toner in my hair, so obviously it has faded. Currently my hair is brown, faded to a very, very light brown. I am having that itch to do something different - RED! Not crazy red, more like... Cherry Coke red. BUT, I'm torn because I would love to stop everything color in my hair & let it grow natural, it just takes too damn long & I don't have the patience for that. The reasoning behind this, is to "ask" if I do that Cherry Coke red, will the blonder tips of my hair turn orange? (If someone says yes I won't do it & will continue to try to grow my hair out o'natural.) & if you do say yes, any tips on growing it out?? :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

From my experience, yes the tips will be significantly brighter. To avoid this you could dye the tips to match your regular hair or even a tiny bit darker since it will fade then wait a week or two and go for the cherry coke color.

. The blonde will definitely be much brighter. I had highlights last summer and I keep my hair the cherry coke red and it fades horribly!! ( back to a weird shade on top of it) Makes me sad. Take prenatal vitamins for hair growth
