Coca Cola isn't exactly a brand known for healthy drinks. But that may change as of 2008, when the multi-billion dollar company and the popular makeup line, L'Oreal are expected to launch their tea-based skin care drink called Lumae. Come 2008, don't go searching for the drink in the aisles of 7-Eleven or Trader Joe's, as it's rumored that it will only be sold in department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue. Lumae will be aimed at "active, influential, image-conscious women over the age of 25 who embrace health and wellness."

I absolutely love my Coca Cola but I don't know if I believe that Lumae will give me beautiful skin. Are you a believer?

daer0n, have you seen Diet Coke Plus? It has vitamins and minerals added.

Really? wow, no i havent! where do they sell it, i want some! lol

my husband LOVES coke, might as well buy that kind since sometimes he will buy like 4 bottles of coke, 2 liter ones o_O

That sounds really weird! But, if it's not outrageously expensive I'll probably buy it once just to say I tried it.

It sounds like a lot of hype. But I would try it just to see what its like. Like that coke blak they made with coffee or something....shudder.

didnt coca cola already had a healthy drink? something liks ips if that is what its called. we have it at work and its red

wow. We probably wont get that over here for like, 3 years. I dunno why australia is so behind sometimes, LOL.

I think I'd try it once.. maybe!

Isn't there another brand that has some kind of good-for-your-skin drink? Borba, or something weird like that. So this L'oreal/Coke thing isn't exactly revolutionary.

EDIT::

Yup, found BORBA and it's probably cheaper - $30 for a 12-pack of 8oz bottles.

BORBA - Drinkable Skincare

Beauty drinks are nothing new though, they've been around in Asia for a long time and sell quite well. They are usually sodas, teas and juices packed with vitamins and extracts.

I'm sure this one will sell if they market it right, but weather it does what it promises is another thing. However, only putting it at Saks might limit their customers?
