Beauty Basics

i saw an article today that listed beauty basics (what every woman needs) and i was surprised that i didn't consider anything on the list a "beauty basic" for myself. check out the list.

i thought i'd list my top ten "basics". please share your top ten. i love trying new things!

1.aveeno clear complexion - the only thing that keeps my acne under control

2.stridex pads for sensitive skin - tone and exfoliate in one step

3.sundari neem & avocado moisturizer - my skin loves this stuff and acts crazy when i don't use it!

4.derma e clear skin 3 blemish treatment - for those zits that slip through

5.eo shower gels - love, love, love!

6.exfoliating gloves - i retired my wash cloth when i got these - love'em

7.always panty liners - allows me wear any style or fabric undies

8.derma e lavender and geranium body lotion - the only lotion i can use that doesn't turn my skin ashy after one hour!

9.sally hansen hard as nails - keep my toes looking like i had a professional pedicure all the time!

10.burt's bees cherry lipgloss - keeps my lips moisturized and smells amazing!

toothbrush & toothpaste

cleanser for face & body

moisterizer for face & body

baking soda

Vit. C

sunblock

razer

rosebud salve

That is what I call the real basics. Then, as I move up the ladder at work, I would consider more things like moisterizer for your feet, perfume etc.

I would consider a basic as a product I use almost everday or even once a week. Pads, tampons, monistat, ******, ovulation predictor, and hair removal wax are maybe once a month or never items in my book. Was this written by a man or some company tring to sell crap?

My top 10....hmmmm, FACE ONLY basics....with BODY....I could list another 10 - LOL:

Oh and you want brands of each too?

1. Cleanser: Arbonne Intelligence or RE9

2. Toner: Arbonne Intelligence or RE9

3. Clyndamiacin (anti-bacterial solution...I always use to protect my skin from bacteria....yep, I'm a bacteria freak)

4. Eye Cream: RE9

5. Oil Absorbing Powder (before moisturizer): Intelligence Personalizer

6. Moisturizer: Arbonne Intelligence Day & Night Moisturizer

7. Lip Balm: Melalueca Lip Balm or Aquafor

8. Daily Vitamin/Supplements (a good vitamin and/or supplement): again Arbonne Supplements - LOL

Other than that....I may add if/when needed for specific needs. IE: masques, or serums and such....but only 2-3 times per week and at night.

Now if we go into BODY....boy....let me work on that one. I LOVE LOVE LOVE scrubs, body serums, lotions (without chemical fragances or alcohol - cuz I'm so sensitive), deoderants - I have my favorite: Degree!, fragrances....boy, I'll work on this one.
