I was wondering, what were some basic skin care tips? I haven't been taking very good care of my skin and now I see the effects. Dull, flakey, broke-out skin that just doesn't look very nice.

So what are some basic things I should do every day, seperated into day and night. I'm thirteen by the way, so Im guessing I don't need any anti-wrinkle stuff.

I'm using Oil of Olay Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15. Is this okay or do I need something else?

Hope you can help!

Nikki

Hi,

I´d say the simpler you keep it the better.

The most important step is cleansing. Find a good cleanser that suits your skin and doesn´t dry it out. Remember to cleanse every morning and evening.

There´s no need for a toner, but if you want to use one, make sure it´s alcohol-free, or try rose or orange blossom water.

Finding a good moisturiser is also important. Remember to use a moisturiser with at least SPF 15 during the day if it´s light and sunny outside. If you go sunbathing (which I wouldn´t recommend), use a good broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Remember to drink lots of water and avoid the sun, it really helps.

I hope this helped.

Thanks, I did all you suggested yesterday and again today, and already my skin feels better. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thank you soo much!
