Ok....  My right cheek (on my face!!!!  lol) is a hot mess....  of mainly ingrown hairs....  that never seem to totally clear up..  my left cheek is fine...  and it just so happens I sleep on my right side..  so my face is in contact with my pillow 6+ hours a day.  Has anyone experienced bad skin on the side they sleep or read anything about it?  Thanks...

Wow, not on my end mainly because I sleep on my back.  But in the case of ingrown hairs, I can probably see that happening....hmmmm...never thought of that.  I wonder whether anyone else noticed this.  Did you do any research on this?

Nope...  Just came to me this morning when I looked in the mirror!   Revalation!!  lol

I've had pimples before, back when i had an oily skin, but i've never experienced ingrown hairs.

I think that may be possible. Karen, have you tried chemical exfoliants for your ingrown hairs?

I know I had issues with product build up on the pillow if it wasn't washed ultra regularly.

Are you getting laser hair removal or electrolysis at all?  I know my skin looks like crap wherever and whenever I've had laser or electro recently.  Especially if I don't baby it for next day or so with ultra soft, clean fabrics.

I really haven't tried anything..  Not doing laser or electrolysis but have elipated my face many times in the past.  which started the problems but my left cheek has no issues at all, only the right one and I love sleeping on my right side...   I had one ingrown hair last month that was 3 inches long when I pulled it out..  (photo on my facebook mobile uploads page).. Ewww...  lol   Some days it seems like it's all cleared up them boom...  massive breakout....

I sleep a whole lot I sleep on both sides of my face and on my back I never had a problem with this , but it maybe be because I don't use many products on my face and don't go to bed with them and I usually use a skin cleanser before i go to sleep and when I wake up so that may help?
