Would it be alright to use baby wipes for cleansing your face instead of say oil of olay cloths???

I use baby wipes (Aldi's house brand) all the time...for everything.

I use baby wipes too...I like it better because it doesnt have any harmful chemicals.

I heard that Huggies are great for removing makeup. Just go for the unscented ones as they could irritate your skin.

Straight Costco... My kids poops a lot, hahaha!!!

And thanks! baby wipes are only part of my regime though- i use them mostly for makeup removal and lazy nights. I use VERY basic cleansers with trace amounts of salicylic or glycolic acid.

Now, moisturizers are a whole new story... I am a SUCKER for spending cash on moisturizers...

They're great for removing make up, though I wouldn't use them as a replacement for cleansing your skin. Use the wipes first, then use your cleanser.

I might try this but the only thing that goes through my mind is that although its gentle enough for a baby's bottom, its tough enough to remove other stuff lol! I might try it out tonight. i hope it works because I need something for those very late friday or saturday nights.

yes to clean your hands on a picnic, or to wash your face during a short trip or holidays. i wouldn't trust them to thoroughly cleanse my skin on a daily basis.

i second Carolyn on getting unscented ones.

As a face and body painter I should own stock in Huggies! I can go thru a case in a week. Baby wipes will remove a great deal of dirt and makeup. Some brands are irritating to the skin and some like Huggies even can feel a bit rough. Pampers are a bit softer just not a cheap when you use them like I do.

I use them for everyday make-up only when I am out of a "real" makeup wipes. Which really do work better for eye makeup. And makeup wipes are much softer and less irritating on facial skin, especially aging skin.

yea you can use wipes for your face, but it's much better for your skin if you cleanse afterwards.

I use the the new pampers clean n' go. If you get the "soap" solution" in your eyes it won't irritate them, unlike the other brands. These are a new kind. I hit the beach alot and like to have the wipes with me, I hate how yuck your face is out there. Well, I found they were nice, and did a job on makeup too!

I like baby wipes and use them to clean my computer, hands, face... I usually use them on face if I'm not at home.
