wondering does avocado oil have any good properties for skin and/or hair? does anyone use this oil? ta

Nic

i love this stuff, i just ran out not too long ago.

it doesnt break you out, and it doesnt have a smell.

i used to use jojoba oil, but that eventually made me break out.

i know that avocados have omega 3, so i can imagine that it would be great for the skin. i've never tried the oil, but i eat them just about everyday!.

i use jojoba oil and its great, i even use it as a moisturizer if my skin is really dry

i saw the bottle in the store, but i didn't know how i could use it, so i didn't buy it.:nixweiss:

What exactly were you looking to use it for? In place of a moisturiser? Or a make up remover? Or just for general use?

There is a very old beauty oil mixture that is said to have been Marie Antoinettes secret to lasting youthfulness. Don't know how true it is but here's the oil blend ingredients.

Avacodo oil

Almond oil

Sesame oil

Naturally I made up a large batch and split it with 2 friends. I used it on my face, baths, and body. My friend used it in her hair and loved it so I began doing the same. Very moisturizing and light.

Avocado oil is really rich in fatty acids (omega 3) and vitamins. It's a wonderful moisturizer for both skin and hair. It is often found in eye creams, I've noticed.
