Aveeno

I'm interested in trying the Aveeno line of products. Particularly the face wash and moisturizer. My face is somewhat acne prone. Its usually oily, but my present face wash has somewhat dried it out..so now it's basically oily with dry patches. I've read some reviews of aveeno products..it does actually sound like a good product. Does anyone in here have any Aveeno comments to help me out.

my sister uses this line and she loves it. she has pretty good skin because of it too.

i use the Skin Brightening Scrub and the Clear Complexion moisturizer and i LOVE LOVE both of them. They smell great, great consistency, feel great, and do a great job of cleansing and moisturizing. my skin has cleared up a great deal while using the clear complexion moisturizer. the scrub on the other hand, i've only been using for about 2 weeks, but no complaints yet!! (and i probably wont have any!) ...i'm even thinking of buying the Positively Radiant cleanser in a few days. the ONLY con with this line is the price, but hey, if it works, its worth it, right? :tocktock: haha.

I tried the foaming acne wash. Didn't really do anything. Maybe it's because I don't really have acne. My daddy uses the moisturizer with feverfew though, and he loves it.

Not sure about the skincare, but they have a really good lotion that my sister bought and I use it without her knowing. HAHA

Today i went and bought the Positively Radiant Moisturizer and the Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser. I hope i get some positive results. I think it stated that results shows in about 6 weeks (i'm not sure, i need to check back that time). I really hope that i do get good results.

I just got the cleansing pads. Its good i must say, it does clean your skin really clean. But i don't think i'll be using it everyday. Maybe once or twice a week to exfoliate. I fear the rough side is to rough to use on my face everyday.

Their cleansers are really good. After i use the foaming cleanser my face gets really clean. If i use a toner after it i don't see any dirt coming out. Unlike other cleanser i always see dirt coming out. And the good thing about it is that it doesnt dry your skin out...its very gentle.

The Dr. Recommended this for my brother when he had terrible cracked dry skin and it did a good job healing and soothing his skin.

Never used Aveeno, too expensive for me but I heard it was a good product.

My derm first advised me to use Aveeno products when I was in my teens. At that time I had combo/oily skin and it was a blessing. I'm now well over 40 and from time to time I've ventured alway but aways return. Now, my skin is combo/dry and I use the moisturising cleansing bar. Aveeno has something for everyone and they are good inexpensive products that work! The basic Aveeno line contains colloidal oatmeal, which is great for sensitive skin. The new foaming facial line and pads also work very well.
