Aveda 1 hour facial

Has anyone ever had one? I leave in an hour to get mine...any basic info I should know before I go...i have never had a facial before

Do i wash my face before i go? Is it safe tobleach before i go? Can i put makeup on right after?

u lucky thing- i had the firmative action Aveda facial a few years back, not only was it heavenly relaxing ( i actually fell asleep ) but my skin looked great for a long time after, which hasn't happened with other various facials I've wasted my money on.

Ok, they start by doiing a little foot treatment. Just cream and warm towel. You lie under a blanket with a heatinig pad under your back. next they took off my makeup. They did masque, a steam, a exfoliating peel, oil massage of my face, neck shoulders and arms, a scalp massage( my ears too). She brushed my hair sometimes too. there was a hand massage with the little warm mitts. She did an upper back massage, and put a hot towel on my back....hmmm what else....im sure theres more i just cant think. Then when ou leave they put some lip gloss on you, not really sure why, but why not really hahah

sounds alot like my aveda facial- I also got the pressure point face massage thing. Was the room in semi darkness? It was soooo relaxing, and you'll see, your skin will glow. If I didn't spend so much on art supplies for my work, I'd get one of these facials AT LEAST once a month. In fact, we have an Aveda Institute near me, I should call and get put on the "guinea pig" list....

Usually when my pedicures are over, im happy to leave. But after this i could have stayed and took a nap hahha
