Hi! I've been recently going back to my Ashy Dark Blonde/Light Brown natural hair color...and my hair hasn't been happy. Don't worry, I go to a professional, but after a little while(not long at all...like 2 weeks), my hair decides to turn golden and reddish, creating a not attractive orangey hair color and then my ashy roots begin to look gray!!! Not fun. I had my hairstylist tone it down yesterday, but she says there's not much I can do because my hair wants to go back to its bleachy stage. She said there was a certain shampoo I could get by John Freida(color-in???) that would help deposit pigment in my hair about once a week...and that I could find it in the drugstore. I couldn't find it...I know she didn't mean brilliant brunette because that doesn't deposit pigment...and I already use it, so it obviously doesn't help. Does anyone know what she might be talking about and where I could get it(besides Sally's, I don't know of one near me)? Thanks!!

Hmmm... I'm only familiar with the Born Blonde, Brilliant Brunette lines... are you sure it's a shampoo? I will see if I find anything on it on google. :icon_wink

Aww, thanks! I poked around but couldn't find anything. Yeah...my hairdresser said it was a shampoo! so I have no idea...because as far as I know the brilliant brunette doesn't deposit color...at least it never saved my hair from going golden, and always made it seem redder.

Hmm... not having much luck. I'm only seeing stuff about the Brilliant Brunette, the Radient Red, and the Sheer Blonde... :icon_conf

I know Artec and Paul Mitchell make color depositing shampoos if you don't have any luck finding the John Freida. I would ask your stylist again, at least get the full name... because I'm not really seeing anything... sorry! :icon_wink
