Some say you need to, some say you should not because the skin produce moister at night and you shouldnt take it off withe soap. What do you think or know aout that?
I use a DIY powder cleanser made with kaolin clay, colloidal oat, baking soda, washing soda, horsetail and essential oils in the morning. I think if I'm feeling kinda icky in the morning I will use my facial wash but I don't usually use soap on my face in general. It's a little too drying for me. Do whatever works for you. Everyone is different.
Aleppo soap is the only soap i use for my face, more during summer and spring as it helps balancing my combination skin. During winter i just prefer to use a DIY foamy cleanser (babassu sulfactant, glycerin, lime essential oil, filtered water and lemon water).
You can use soap on your face, the real trick is to make sure you read the labels. I like to use natural soaps made of olive oil, that's what i tolerate most.
I always wash my face (with a liquid cleanser) in the morning. My skin is oily so I have a shiny face when I get up in the morning. Plus, I use Retin-A or a glycolic acid serum at night, and both definitely need to be removed in the morning.
