Yeah, it looks like it. She can try some Benzoyl Peroxide (like Neutrogena On The Spot) which works well for a lot of women.

A mild cleanser, like Cetaphil or Purpose will be nice, too.

it can also be becoz she has too dry skin and still keep drying out her skin

my fd had sth similar to it and the dr told her to use more moisturizer but i m not sure if thats the case for your fd

I also think it's acne. Mild acne, but acne. She shouldn't pick or pop them- it'll just cause scarring (something I wish I knew when I was a kid). I am currently on a modified version of Dan Kern's regimen from acne.org - Benzyl Peroxide products might help, but they can be irritating, and cause redness and burning at first.

tell your friend to stopping picking her face asap! i know she wants the spots to disappear, but she only makes it worse by picking. tell us something about her skin type - is she oily or dry? what products is she using currently? this information is necessary before we can really recommend any products. we don't want to make her problem worse.

i think its acne! my friend tried something and worked!

Anti-acne soap recipe:

This recipe uses the gentle purifying qualities of lavender and the antiseptic properties of niaouli (tea tree family) to help deal with break-outs. Grapeseed has astringent qualities, and will provide lively bubbles in combination with olive oil.

Your base ingredients - 1500g batch - 12 bars approx.

Olive Oil 525g

Palm Kernel Oil 525g

Rice Bran Oil 150g

Grapeseed Oil 300g

Sodium Hydroxide 210g

Water 225g

French Green Clay 3 Tablespoons

Lavandin Essential Oil 25g

Niaouli Essential Oil 25g

acne will disappear very soon!try it

this recipe sounds interesting !!

i also suggest tea tree oil. green clay masks are great, if she has a combo or sensitive skin, i suggest she uses also white clay (1 tbsp green clay, 1 tbsp white clay, a bit of water to make a paste, and a few drops of lavender EO if she wants, leave the mask on the face for 20 minutes).

It looks like acne, like from sweating, and it looks like the skin is very dry. My stepdaughter gets bumps very similar to that. A gentle cleanser and maybe some light treatment would help, but on dry skin benzoyl peroxide may be too drying and compound the issue. A natural product would work better. I would agree with the tea tree recommendation.

Yeah that's definitely acne + blackheads / clogged pores. First I would suggest that you start off with a nice gentle cleanser, and an oil-free moisturizer. Then you need to incorporate Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% into your routine. If you've never used it before it will irritate you at first, that's why it's absolutely crucial for you to use a really THIN layer on your skin in the beginning. You can then grow your tolerance as your become used to it. When you start off use BP once in the evening, then when you're comfortable enough you can move up to morning (make sure to use sunscreen) and evening. So an example of your evening routine to start could be:

- Cleanse

- Apply a thin layer of BP; let dry completely

- Apply oil-free moisturizer

That's the basic basic step. You'll find your skin become very dry but it will pass with time. You can get some Jojoba oil to help with dryness, it has truly helped my skin. BP is the main ingredient that helps acne.

Once your acne is getting cleared up, you can incorporate such things as Glycolic acid to help with scars, and BHA (Salicylic acid) to help with blackheads. To make sure that you do it safely, visit Acne.org and read up! It has tons of useful information!

Yes, those are small pimples/blackheads. They aren't really bad. I would try Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. It is very drying for some with dry skin (if you use it on the entire face). Try just dotting it on the pimples and leave it overnight. That mask will dry them up, so they can go away! Try it on your entire face if you have oily skin. Some people with normal/dry skin can use it. You have to judge the usage for yourself, based on your skin type. It helps my skin alot (I have oily skin)!

if you have insurance coverage, go to a dermatologist for treatment. i'm not putting anyone down but really, for what you have you need better treatment than over the counter stuff. think about it, if the over the counter stuff worked, NO ONE and i mean NO ONE would have a pimp on them! get what i'm saying? why waist money on over the counter when you can pay a co-pay and get the real deal!? over the counter is for maintenance of isolated issues. you know you get what you pay for and appearance is very important...that's a fact.

I would use salicylic acid which helps breakdown whiteheads and blackheads and it helps prevent future breakouts. DO NOT use it with benzoyl peroxide though as it can be really irritating to your face. Plus I find it to be too drying. I use the Stirdex pads. I'd suggest a 1% concentration and if your skin handles it well, move up to 2% after a month.

I've found tea tree oil also helps dry up and get rid of pre-existing pimples. It's worked very well for me.

Invest in a gentle cleanser. I like the Cetaphil bar of soap. It leaves my skin feeling clean without making it dry.

Basically tea tree oil to make existing pimples go away and salicylic acid to prevent future outbreaks and diminish pimples you already have.

Good luck!

Aspirin mask with honey (3 times/week) and oil cleansing at night helped me. I use a combo of oils - 50% EVOO, 50% Castor oil and a few drops of Tea tree EO
