Anyone try this product?

hey guys..i wanted to know if anyone has tried this product..clairol shimmer lights. someone told me its good and its meant for "gray, white highlighted, and lgiht blonde tinted hair? it says...meant to brighten em...tone down brassiness and shampoo away yellow..i heard it really brightens up the pale highlights..anyone try it ?

I have used it before and it worked pretty well. I found it a little drying-have read that you can mix it with your reg shampoo or a little conditioner and apply. I have only had it on for 5 min max as it is a scary purple colour but have never had my hair turn violet yet. Some swear by it. There is an Aveda product and another product called Silver Brights(Citre shine) that are supposed to do the same job. I found that it did tone down brassiness and brightened my colour.

yeah... this will help tone down any brassiness or excess 'yellow' color. The purple negates the yellow, so that's why it's such a crazy colored shampoo /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> lol
