Hello everyone my name is Cheryl and i'm new. I'm 35 and have battled acne for 3 years now, finally my doc put me on Spironolactone and it seems to be working,,,yeah! anyways she also recommended some products (organic) that i'm just beginning to use and wondered if any of you have tried, she feels they will help with the scarring from all the harsh ingriedients that i have had to endure on my skin for years.

Avalon- Vitamin C vitality facial serum

Reviva- Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Derma e- DMAE-lypolic acid-c ester creame

any thoughts on these products

Hello and welcome to MuT! I'm Lisa from Texas. I've suffered with adult acne so I can empathize with ya. What is spironolactone exactly? I've never tried the specific products you mentioned but i'm all about organic and they sound like great products. I have used hyaluronic acid by another company and it works well at hydrating and plumping the skin which helps hide scars. I see the Reviva was given a good review here. Feel free to add your own reviews to our center after you've given the products a try. Good luck and I'd like to know how they work for you!

Welcome! There is a vitamin C serum?!?! Wow! I wonder how much it is. Vitamin C, I've read, is suppose to be super awesome for your skin.

hey guys- Spironolacton is a antiandrogen medication....the therory is that adult acne is more hormonal and this stuff is working so far.

The vitamin c cream is by Avalon Organics it's called Vitamin C vitality facial serum and you can find it at places like whole foods.

I used the hydrolic acid lastnight and slept on it and yes it's amazing, it plumped up my acne scars and the ester cream that I got from derma e said that you can apply to lips and it plumps them and I did and WOW....I thought I was Pamela Anderson for a bit...lol
