The term "power cleanser" makes me think of a machine that could be used to spray down the aluminum siding on my house. But when I saw a picture of how cute (and pink!), Neutrogena's Wave was, I knew instantly that it was going to the top of my "must-try" list. What can I say, gimmicky sounding or not, I'm a sucker for girly packaging.

The Wave is a battery-operated cleanser that's said to be clinically proven to perform better than ordinary manual cleansers. You just click the button, and a gentle vibrating motion massages a cleansing foam deep into pores to remove more dirt, oil and more make-up than ordinary cleansing, with results after just one use. And it's supposed to be gentle and easy enough to use every day—even in the shower.

The Wave is on sale right now at drugstore.com for $13.99. It includes a two week supply of cleansing pads and a battery.
