Just wondering if anyone has tried this. I've read raves about it, but it's very expensive. A Japanese skin care line, I think. I searched old threads and only saw one review for the facial treatment essence. There are so many lines overhyped and I've thought about trying to get some samples, but thought I'd see if anyone on here has used any of it.

Thanks

I've heard of it, but I've never tried it! Isn't that the one that is made with Sake? I think they sell it at Saks 5th Ave. so maybe they could send you a sample!!

Yeah...I think it is made with Sake. Maybe I'll try them or I saw some cheap samples for sale on skincarejungle.com before too.

I wonder if Leony knows anything about this, since she takes realli good care of her skin and lives in Japan

Lol, thanks LVA.

I've only tried the SK mask sample and it was awesome but I don't think I'd use it for my skincare regimen, the mask it's a bit pricey for $15 USD just for one sheet (6 sheets would be $85 USD)

The air touch foundation is fab, I wanted it but then again I couldn't stand the price, I only tested the foundation in the back of my hand.

The air touch foundation is supposed to be skin care as well, but the price for trial kit + compact would cost me 10.000 Yen ($85 USD) and another $85 USD for 2 refils! I think one refil would only last about a month for daily use.

SKII is widely available here in Japan, I can even get it at the nearest local supermarket. But, we have a lot of great skincare product here, so I usually would get the one that wouldn't cost me more money and simple step skincare regimen.

Thanks Leony! Maybe I'll have to pass on it. It just got such raves. But...it is really expensive.

Yeah, SKII actually not really a depstore brand here, but they're pricey.

Hi - Ive tried the essence thing that was supposed to be holy grail product. A word of warning - its smelly!!

If I remember correctly, you pour some into your hand (its a watery product) and apply to your face before moisturising, like a toner. I used it for a month and did not notice any difference in my skin, so ended up passing it on to someone, who also did not really like it.

But Ive heard some people love this stuff, so it may be worth getting a sample, and seeing what it does for you..

PS I have combination skin with large pores on my cheeks, and occasional spots.

Thanks for the info Leony! I'm noticing some of the good stuff is pricey... I know I'm definitely interested in DHC, and for an eye cream, cleanser, moisturizer, and primer (maybe something else), it's $123 (no taxes or shipping).

I've never tried it, wanted to, but don't have the money to do so. I agree with Aquilah that the good stuff is usually incredibly pricey...

thanks for the info, leony! i forgot where i saw this brand and was curious, too.

SKII does not work on my skin, used the essence (their star product), do not see any improvements. This brand is really pricey and is widely available in asia. Think there's too much hype.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm probably going to pass since no one seems to be saying it's anything special and for the price it's not worth it. I'm glad I asked before I went out and bought it.
