Would like to takk about the best nail strengtheners out there, as well as the best shape for nails to prevent breakage and snagging.

Anyone know where I should be posting this question?

Cass

sally hansen teflon tuff, and maybelline ultra strong nail strengthener is the combo i use, and it works extremely well for me.

I use a product line called "Ecrinal". It's made in France so it can be hard to find in a store, my Mom sends it to my from Canada. There are a few places online that you can buy from.

For a polish I use OPI Nail Envy (the matte formula), it's a bit expensive at $15 a bottle but it really helps.

Lina,

I am totally up for trying this stuff! Can you let me know where I can get it? I live in Boston.

Thanks,

Cass

My nails are pretty strong naturally, and I think that keeping them in a round shape is the best! But maybe that's because my nails tend to curl on the corners if I leave them in a square shape! (Plus, I think a round shape looks best, it makes my fingers look long and lean compared to a more square shape!)

Biotin 2.5 mg tablets by Appearex are a big seller at Walgreens. Lots of people come in saying that "their" dermatologist recommended it. Of course, you'd probably want to check the RDA's on this. You can also by Biotin supplements separately and for less.
