Anyone buys CLAY to make masks?

I was just wondering if anyone buys clay(like Fuller's Earth or kaolin) to make their own clay mask? I read in another forum whereby this person suggested mixing a clay with rose water & applying this mask everyday twice for 1 week & u would see that pores on your face would shrink. Has anyone tried this? I can only purchase kaolin by a large quantity(2kg) so I wanted to see if this recipe works before I take the plunge to buy the clay.

I buy clay to make my own masks! I'll add just plain water or if I'm having a lot of acne I'll add apple cider vinegar. I think the home made masks work better than the store bought ones. I can really see the difference after using one of these plain clay masks.
