welcome to mut!

don't know about la mer, only that they're expensive. lol

Welcome!

I've tried the cream, and it was very nice, but not nice enough to justify the crazy price!

Sorry I can't help with the samples question.

Hello and Welcome! :clap

I have tried a lot of La Mer and I really like most of it. I stopped using it due to the fact that after a few months I felt I was not seeing the same great results as I was in the beginning. I still believe it to be a great product though and I will probably use it again in the future. I still use the lip balm all the time and also the hand cream. I did not like the serum as I did not see any difference in my skin from using it. I tried in vain to get samples of La Mer, but was constantly told by the sales people that La Mer 'did not do' samples. I think your best bet will probably be to go onto the la mer website and email them for samples, that way you know you will be getting the real thing and you wont have to chance paying rip off prices on ebay.

By the way, I am using La Prairie at the moment (it was the lure of La Prairie that took me away from La Mer!) and I am totally loving it. I also know that you CAN get samples form most La Prairie counters.

Good Luck! :icon_chee

To me, even La Mer at a "reasonable" price would probably be quite expensive :icon_wink

Thank u very much,littleliverbird!

You 're so kind to tell me lots of things about la mer.Your help is greatly appreciated.

But,if i email to their website, how many sample they will offer? Have u ever try this before?

Your very welcome! I have never emailed La Mer, but a La Mer sales lady told me this would probably be the only way to get samples. They did say that you can get samples from La Mer counters, but ONLY new products when they first come out and even then I think you have to buy something. Apparantly, La mer NEVER do samples of the original creme in the UK as 'they do not need to'. I would definitely try the website, they should be fine with sending you some samples, after all you are a potential customer! :icon_chee

I was confused. Why so many seller on ebay has lots of samples to sell?Where did they get the samples?:icon_roll

I agree about the cellular radiance eye cream, but to be honest I would never buy a product like that be it cheap or expensive because I would not want to risk any irritation to my eye area and I think shimmer might just do exactly that. That product itself is purely just to give a temporary 'lightened/lifted' look to the eye area and so I suppose it is quite a speciality product.

What I do think is that La Prairie make some FANTASTIC moisturisers and they certainly agree with my skin and make it feel great. I use the day moisturiser and eye cream with an SPF in for sun protection and at nightime my cellular eyecream and skin caviar cream are for moisturising and skin benefit only. I love them. I do use the La Prairie essence of skin caviar eye serum for a temporary quick fix around the eyes, It tightens the eye area to make you looka bit more refreshed and it really does work. I think it is about personal preference and whilst they are expensive, I think they are worth it because trust me, I have tried many, many skincare ranges from cheap to expensive and this one is a winner with me!

Have you try finding the samples at ebay? I got my la mer sample at ebay. It comes in a small container. The price is not bad as well.
