I have acne scars and pimples. UGH....trying to battle the 5 pimples a month I get with my period, then the acne scars and freckles, I hate my skin. Oh and not to mention the large pores. I just want smooth, even color, skin tone. Anyway....I can fade the scars and freckles?

Have you heard about or tried resd light therapy? It's a natural way to reduce acne scars, wrinkles, fine lines and get plumped and glowing skin (If you stick with the program of course, just like with anything else).

I have a red light therapy home device and I don't know what I ever did without it. It helps with hyperpigmentation and basically any skin problem, by promoting skin healing and collagen production. You can read more about it . Deleted per Terms of Service

I have had acne since I hit puberty, and have several scars from it.  While I'm still suffering, I have found a couple  products that have cleared up my skin dramatically, and they aren't even acne products.

bareMinerals Active Cell Night Renewal Serum - I got a sample of this, and using only a pea-sized amount for my entire face it lasted about four nights.  My skin was instantly smoother and I noticed my cystic acne already starting to heal.  Unfortunately a 1fl oz. bottle costs $50, so I wasn't too quick to buy it.  I don't know how well the long term will work.

MaryKay TimeWise - I have the face wash, the day and night solutions, and the moisturizer.  This set was a present ($90), so I didn't get any of the blemish stuff, but so far I don't see myself needing it.  I've only been using it for a week and I have noticed results since day one.  My skin is smooth and my acne is still healing.  I'll have to continue using it to see if it starts to help the scarring and redness I had before.  I have high hopes, though!

Oh, also on the time-wise, usually there is a 'purge phase' on new skin care stuff.  I never had one with this line.  My nose gets greasier than normal throughout the day, but I'm sure that's fixable with an anti-shine product if it's a big issue.  I even broke out trying the MaryKay foundation, and after washing my face that night and the next day my skin was back to normal.

My son had acne scars, but they have really faded. He did research and he mixed up tea tree oil, aloe and sugar and scrubbed his skin everyday. Not only is his acne much better and fewer breakouts, but the scars have faded a lot too.
