I really hate shaving my hair always grows back so fast and I always have black dots in my leg. Waxing is way too messy and annoying. I really need something that removes hair and has the same look as waxing but i really don't want to use and waxes. I'm also really allergic to all those hair removal creams, like nair and veet. ugh and electrolysis is way too expensive. Any suggestions for me?

oh i always wanted to try one of those but i never knew which one was worth it. i really never knew which one to get. i would definitely get it if its better then waxin. i don't mind tweezers.

Braun and Epilady and Panasonic are all great brands.. Personally I love my Braun.. Stay away from the Emjoi cordless brand... It is cheaper for a reason... I totally wore one of those out in a couple months.. I'm kind of a hairy girl! Lol.

And it does the same thing as wax... Just no mess.. But it is slower... Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I will use Sally Hansens cold hair removal gel which I really like. Very sticky but rinses off in water.. then use the epilator to pickup anything that the gel missed..

Oh I definitely wanna try the braun! Ugh I hate waxing I've done booth professional and at home and it just never really got all my hair! Plus it nevEr lasted very long for me my hair would grow back in a couple days and that adds up if you go to a salon! Lol ugh the creams, gels, or foams gave my such a bad allergic reaction and the smell of them are wo gross!

Considering you've tried almost everything I think you should give the epitalor a shot. Otherwise, save up for laser hair removal or you'll just have to keep shaving. LOL

i know its so sad

ugh i have such horrible skin its not even funny! my next paycheck is going to an epilator. I hate shaving with a passion!! haha

Tell me about it... After a long weekend I look like a Big Foot.. Sigh....

Lol. I think you can't like cut your foot off or anything.. Just point and shoot. Problem is it only really works well for people with dark hair and certain skin types so I've heard.. Else I'd have one by now!

oh well i have the dark hair...i have those dark stubborn hard to get rid of hair that drives me crazy! ugh and those stupid black dots on my legs...welll hair i guess idk it just sucks!

Can I ask what razor you use? I have really quick growing hair. If I wax, I can see re-growth in about a week. If I shave, then I have to do it daily and can sometimes squeak by every other day.

I switched to Schick Quattro and now I only have to shave every three days.

oh i use venus razors i've tried so many but i never tried those. i have waxed from the salon and at home and i always end up all sticky or get the wax everywhere. It does not last for me what so ever it just grows back within days!! so not worth the $100 to get professionally waxed lol

Waxing or sugaring is the best because it keeps the hair away the longest. Would be difficult to do it yourself, so better to go to an esthetician who can see what they are doing. Sugaring is not nearly as painful as waxing if you can find a place that does it. Being hair-free is painful - hurts less when you get it done more often. You can also buy an Epilady - sort of like a razor - Sears has them - but they hurt first few times as much as waxing - then you sort of get immune - how you would see to do your butt is another question. Use that Epilady on my legs and underarms, it gives same longlasting result as waxing, but you can do it yourself, so less expensive in the long run.

I think there are most three common ways of hair removal waxing, shaving and hair removal cream.

Waxing

I consider this the best way of hair removal, if you can tolerate the pain. Waxing is about 90% irritation free after the first couple of times. Also, does not grow back too quickly and the after effect looks good, too. However, it will hurt to wax on some areas of your body; these include the bikini area, legs, armpits and sometimes chest and abdomen areas. I recommend you try this mainly on the hands as it is pretty much pain free and then decide yourself.

Shaving

Shaving is another way to remove unwanted hair and it is pain free practice and also it can be done anywhere on the body without hesitation. It is the most popular method of hair removal; however it does have its setbacks. Those who are prone to ingrown hairs will suffer the most, even if you get overheated rash may occur as a result of shaving, when hair grows back.

I suggest you shave your legs first and then decide yourself.

Hair Removal Cream

If I was you, I would rather use hair removal cream over shaving if I could find one that really works without having to go through it with a razor when all the cream has been wiped off. There are many hair removal creams available in beauty product market. I suggest you to try different hair removal cream and stick to one which works best for you.

I hope you learnt something in this article about which way to desire for hair removal. Just keep in mind everyone is different and my views are not the only ones out there therefore try different ways and decide your own personal way of hair removal.
