Hey everyone! I am new to this site and well obviously that would mean this is my first post. My question for you guys is....does anyone have any recommendations for a long hair cut? That mighta sounded a little funny. What I mean is that I have pretty long hair. I just cut off like 3 inches about a month ago to freshen up the ends. My hair is kind of thin and very fine. Right now it's a boring style to me b/c it is all just one length. I was thinking of some long layers btu I'm afraid it would make my hair look thinner? Would it? Or maybe some face framing layers b/c I think those are pretty as well. Any suggestions? Oh yah....I'm also dying my hair for the first time (in a month or 2). I decided I wanted it to be dark b/c I love dark hair and it would make my eyes pop. I'm excited about the change. Not that the haircolor matters btu I was wondering your opinions. Please help!!!!

Hey! Welcome to MuT, Im Violet from New York.

I think you should consider long layers with sideswept bangs. I think the bangs will give it more of a nicer look than just long layers. Plus, I think it would look nice with green eyes and dark hair. Hope I helped!

I concur. Long Layers would actually give it more volume also. Especially set on hot rollers.

I've heard that but I'm so afraid it would make my hair look thinner especially if I just wore it straight for a day without hot rollers. My stylists suggested them but I was too afraid. What exactly do they look like? anyone know of any links to a picture of them? I know I must be a moron for not knowing.

Actually it's just the opposite... layers will create volume, and one-length usually makes it look thinner, since it's heavier & the weight pulls it down. You can check out our Ultimate style gallery HERE for more pics --- but here are some pictures of layers.
