You smoke, then you better start now Retro-Violet.

Yeah my mom is like that also, when it`s summer here, she always go to stand in the balkon or go`s outside w/o any protection and I`m like saying to her that the sun is "bad" for the skin. And also when the sun is like "there" but you can`t "see" it and she stands in the sun and I`m saying something about it, she`s like I see no sun, that is what she think, but that`s nut true. But now she finally is listening more to me, cuz I show here some articles about sun and protection and so. And I`m kinda like "afraid" of the sun b/c of that pigment/dark spot above my mouth. When I first had it I did go to the doctor (long time ago) and then he had give me something to lightening it and it did work, but I think he was forget to mention that I have to apply sunscreen, otherwise it wouldn`t make a difference apllying the lightening cream. But a couple years later I found it out myself :icon_twis :icon_chee

use sunscreen, a good one. If you travel to Europe sometimes I would recomend buying sunscreens by Vichy, La Roche Posay, SVR, Bioderma - they have better UVA protection than sunscreens available in the US (it means it protects better against aging!). Good sunscreen is the best way to prevent wrinkless.

I also use Nivea Visage Multiple Results Night Serum. It's very light and contains good mixture of vitamines. I use it as preventive treatment, I am 25.

There was a test here with sunsreens of which are good and no "bad" ingredients and Vichy (the one you mentioned) camed out as one of the best, so hmm... maybe I`ll look at that one for my mom! :icon_wink

Speaking about sunscreen. Is it so that when a sunscreen is to long in a store (cuz nobody buys it) that will it loose it`s protection power/function?

TIA. :icon_wink

most of new ones will be good for two years since they were produced, I believe, if they are not opened. After they were opened I believe it is best to use them up in about a year. but if they are in the store for a while and the expiration date is not gone yet, it means they are good to use :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Most of the ones I bought recently have expiration dates 2007-2008, so they can be in the store for a while.

sunblock!!!

&

internally, fill up with antioxidants by eating healthy (lots of fruits and vegetables) + drinking lots of water.
