Anthelios SX sunscreen approved by US FDA!!

The type of sunscreen used in Ombrelle sunscreen has been approved for use in the US by the FDA!! http://www.livescience.com/humanbiol...sunscreen.html Now all of us in the USA don't have to beg to swap for Ombrelle with ladies overseas!

yay! hopefully soon they will approve all of the chemical sunscrens, not just mexoryl SX, cause all of them used together are more effective. but better this than nothing!

How ironic: I have bought sunscreen from Canada for this very reason.

I got the beginning of hyperpigmentation 2 summers ago b/c I was using US s/s & outdoors a lot on a college campus. When I started using the Ombrelle SPF 30 lotion (for kids), it went away. I really noticed a difference.

I have done a bit of reading on the different types of s/s & what makes avobenzone stable, etc, however, my skin is being so hypersensitive that I can't use a chemical sunscreen right now. How "murphy's law" is that for you?

I did see an announcement on TV last night where they hint at what they will be talking about (they mentioned a new s/s, etc) on the news, but then I fell asleep. I had a feeling it was something like this.

It is really about time... 99% of the US sunscreens are fairly worthless.
