yay! hopefully soon they will approve all of the chemical sunscrens, not just mexoryl SX, cause all of them used together are more effective. but better this than nothing!

How ironic: I have bought sunscreen from Canada for this very reason.

I got the beginning of hyperpigmentation 2 summers ago b/c I was using US s/s & outdoors a lot on a college campus. When I started using the Ombrelle SPF 30 lotion (for kids), it went away. I really noticed a difference.

I have done a bit of reading on the different types of s/s & what makes avobenzone stable, etc, however, my skin is being so hypersensitive that I can't use a chemical sunscreen right now. How "murphy's law" is that for you?

I did see an announcement on TV last night where they hint at what they will be talking about (they mentioned a new s/s, etc) on the news, but then I fell asleep. I had a feeling it was something like this.

It is really about time... 99% of the US sunscreens are fairly worthless.
