So I was using aloe vera with lidocaine when I got a sunburn last month. It worked so well that I kept using it for my eczema. Now Im starting to wonder if using that much lidocaine on your skin is safe? I researched on google and webmd but nothing on lidocaine that is not prescribed. I don't want to make my skin worse in the long-run.

Anyone know?? Im going to switch to plain aloe vera today. Actually can you OD on aloe??

If you're unsure, ask your doctor

Try Emu Oil for Exzema and burns works really really well. Try applying just plain Aloe Vera first to soothe the redness and pain and wait for that to dry one drop of Emu oil in the area should help the skin repair and heal together with Aloe Vera!!

Emu Oil is working quite good for me but its tooo EXPENSIVE for a bottle even tho it does last long depending on usage!

I also reccommend talking to your doctor about the effects of lidocaine. I'm not aware of any. I have heard great things about Emu oil. Check these threads out and see if they're of any help.

Emu Oil # 1

Emu Oil # 2

You might also check with the FDA to see if there have been any studies regarding long term use of topical lidocaine.
