I've read so many times that aloe vera is an excellent product for your skin.Especially facial skin. It'll work better on your face than any other very expensive product.I do have two people in my family who have been using the product for a some yrs now(almost 10,to be exact) and you should see their face. They are in their late 70-is and no lines,no spots,no nothing...they have better skin than i do. I swear. The only thing is,whn you buy aloe ,it has to say that is made out of aloe leaves from barbados...

What do you think about aloe?

Probably would. You probably need to go to some of the natural skincare sites and find out if you use it just like you would for a burn or if there is something else you should do. Garden of Wisdom has a forum on Delphi forums that has a lot of information of natural products and how to use them. Also, they have links to other forums on using natural skincare products. Hope this helps.

i use aloe vera gel as my moisturizer underneath my spf30 moisturizer. sometimes i mixed it with a drop or two of jojoba oil and i really like that.

i use lily of the desert brand. before i was dry flaking skin and anything a little harsh will make my face itch. aloe has help.

i'm not sure i'll go back to regular moisturizers...we'll see.

why not drug store kind?? It says-100% pure aloe.where would you suggest to look for aloe gel and what to ask for?

the lily of the desert brand i use is 99% natural. it's a better formulation than the ones found at drugstore. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

i've looked at the ones at walgreens and longs drugs before and the ingredients didn't sound okay to me, i guess.

so far, this one works fine. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The best natural moisturizer. It protects your skin non oily or greasy. I have used on skin burns and they heal immediately.

trying to edit ny post but it won't save so ... :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

EDIT: i'm not sure why the brands at drugstores say 100% when they have a bunch of other ingredients. i saw one from jason that is "pure aloe vera extract" and comes in a liquid form...

oh and i got mine from the vitamin shoppe. it said aloe vera gelly.

The one I use from Holland & Barratt is only 99.9% natural and I haven't really see any results with it, infact I find it quite drying so I plan to just buy an aloe vera leaf from the market, slice it open then use on my face.

this is what i use. not too long ago i waxed my sideburns (gotta love middle eastern descent) and i used this stuff on it. didnt break out and alot of the reddness went away the next morning. totally awsome.

I use the same brand too! it's really nice and does not cause my eyes to sting like the drug store kinds. it's also a nice tube dispenser and travel friendly.

I use the aloe vera from my local durgstore and it's okay. I like it alot since it helps reduce the redness in my face. I also use it on my feet if they get dry, you know that happens sometimes. I like aloe vera a lot and it has helped my facial skin tremendously.

I really like aloe vera too. I had a really bad rash on my face (allergic reaction to some makeup), and it has almost completley cleared it up in a matter of days.

I always have an aloe plant around especially in the summer. If I get burned applying it cools the skin and takes down the redness. I just cant stand the smell (gag).

I have used the Aloette line. Any input about the aloe in these products? I didnt find that these products worked very well for me. Just wondering.
