I read that if you use this it opens up your pores and causes sweating, in return helping to lose weight. It was an article in my local newspaper. Any info gals, and where do you get it??

I've used a product called Albolene for years. It takes off mascara and makeup. I buy it at the drug store...CVS, etc. Is that the same product as what you are talking about?

 
I have a mini jar of this, I use it sometimes to take off mascara. Never heard of this before though...

Wouldn't you have to rub it all over your body? It's kinda greasy, like Vaseline, I don't think that would be too comfortable.

That is what I was thinking. Maybe they mean to put it in your bath or something. I don't know. Oh well, I guess I will not give that a try

are you sure it's that? maybe you read it wrong or something or just forgot. make sure!

 
I just used it tonight, and it's definitely called Albolene. Mine's in a little white jar with a blue cap.

. Sweating off weight is an old trick that athletes have used since day one. The catch is it's only water weight, which is regained immediately.

Are you certain the article said Abolene and not Abalone? Abalone is a very popular an edible shellfish
