Hi, I’ve just ordered some AHA souffle and will be a first time user. I’m very excited. Can i use my Neutrogena oil-free fash wash prior to applying it at night? Is that combo ok? that’s what I have at home and I’d like to begin applying — if that facewash is an ok companion to the souffle. I also have a deep moisturizer by Clinique that I’ll apply after.

Firstly, Welcome to MUT!!!

I don't see this as being a problem combination.  If you get a reaction, then I suppose it is a problem combination but on paper it's ok.  Have you tried the AHA?  Everyone is different, will react differently.  You won't know until you try.  At least if you get a reaction, you know it would be from the AHA as  you are already familiar with your other products.  It's harder to determine which is irritating if all the products are new to you.

Is the Neutrogena the one which contains 2% salicylic acid? And the AHA souffle the one which contains 12% glycolic acid?  Assuming it is and you are using that on a daily basis, you may already have stripped part of the stratus corneum (outer horny layer of skin), making you more sensitive to the effects of the new product. What are you hoping to achieve with this combination, do you have acne or wrinkles or both?
