Hi guys

I have suffered from a large degree of spots JUST on my chin and nowhere else for years now. Looking at my face, they are on my chin and just mainly on the left side of my chin. Always there, never anywhere else.

I have tried countless, creams, spot clearers, antibiotics but nothing works. Im at my wits end and sometimes cry about this.

I read recently that a celebrity had a food allergy and this was making her skin real bad?

Help, what do you think I should do. I am British but now live in Turkey so getting to a Dermatologist might prove real difficult. Are there maybe any on line Dermatologists?

Any advice you can give would be cool

Lorraine

Genes Vitamin E Swiss collagen complex creme 100000 IU's is very good for what you just described. this is a miracle cream.

maybe try scrutinizing your diet, writing down exactly what you eat, and, if you're not already doing so, eating massive amounts of fruits and vegies.

As far as zapping the spots goes, you could try mario badescu, he has a great line of acne stuff.

Hi Lorraine,

I notice in your picture, you have long hair. Do you leave it loose or wrap it in a scarf or night cap before going to sleep? Also do you sleep on your left side? The reason I ask is, hair care products are known to cause breakouts. So if your hair is out and is in contact with your face and pillowcase, this could possibly explain the breakout on your chin. You may have to think about changing your pillowcases everyday.

Here to help.

be the reason

I have also heard that. I always seem to get break outs on my right side, because its the side I sleep on.

HI guys, the long hair I have in the piccie is a hair clip in unfortunately so my hair doenst often get the chance to touch my chin.

This is just horrid. I live in Turkey and all they do is palm you off with different creams and antibiotics. None have worked. Does anybody know of any on line Dermatologists.

Do you talk on the phone on left side? Some times that will make me break out. Try ordering Paula's Choice (I don't know if ship internationally) Not knowing what is causing the spots I don't know if they will fix them but they are color and fragrance free should not make the problem worse. Good luck

Someone mentioned spots oaround the chin area can be hormonal and I read somewhere that spots or other irritation, like eczema, in this area is linked to your bowel.

How annoying that you're just ending up with a cupboard full of creams that don't work lol!! That sux :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Retin A will help remove your spots and prevent new ones.

You do need a prescription in Canada and US - not sure about Turkey.

But a family doctor can write one for you - no need to see a dermatologist.
