Acrylics for everyone!

So like Eric and Battygurl, I got acrylics for the first time EVER. I got them in honor of the Nordstrom anniversary sale, lol. I figured, hey, if I'm stressed out, at least my nails will look pretty! I don't type as fast anymore, but I LOVE them!!

They look awesome Joy! Man, everyone's acrylics/gels look awesome today! Mine only looked that good every few visits to the salon... They look good though Joy!

YAY! Congrats Joy! Did you get just the pink and whites or is the French painted on?

I grew my nails out until they were long enough for them to put the acrylic overlay on top without having to use tips (I got them once and they drove me crazy!), I had them put a clear layer on bc I am too wishy washy about what color I want on my nails...lol

Haha I remember the first time I got them as well - I just moved more gracefully and wanted to have them always showing (scratching face, pointing at things, etc.)

I plan on get them again soon

Oh, it's tips. I'd never have the patience in the world to grow my nails out. Here's a picture of how I normally wear them. Disregard the wrinkly hand -- I did it in my special effects makeup class.
