I've starting using Murad for my acne (hasn't done crap for it yet, but that's another thread) and I was thinking - do acne treatment promote aging? First, they're harsh, so that can't be good for the skin. Second, wouldn't it defeat the purpose of using acne treatments if I put my night cream (in my case Anew) over it? It just seems like alot for skin to take <shrugs>

Anyway, just curious what you ladies think.

Or make sure the Anew is okay for acne prone skin ...plus what are the ingredients ..make sure there isn't anything in there that can clog pores, cause breakouts, etc! You DO NOT want anything in your skincare other than those ingredients required to do the job ..you DO NOT need fragrances and colorings! Hi and thanks for your response.

I actually have only been using the Anew on my neck and under my eyes (where the Murad doesn't go).

I guess I feel as though as doing my skin a "mis-service" if I'm replacing my anti-aging regime with an acne product. But I don't know what else to do! I've tried a couple of the acne + anti aging products, and they did not work.

Whats your skin type?If you're combination, let me see....why not apply the acne product only on areas that you need to treat (those that have acne or if you're combi, only on your Tzone if that is the area that you want to treat)...then, you may apply the night cream of your dry areas.
