Well, all of my teenage years I had terrible acne.

I'm eighteen at the mo and it's been gone for a long time.

Recently, I changed both my diet and i got a new foundation.

It cannot be the diet that has brought it back, because it is improved, mostly veg/fruit/healthier alternatives.

I changed my foundation from Rimmel 25 hour wear to Max Factor Pan Stick, and my skin has been TERRIBLE again for the last month...

My skin is mostly very dry, so I thought Pan Stick was great, but maybe it was too greasy.

Any tips on how to keep acne at bay in the meantime? Is it just the foundation??

I changed back to rimmel, and my skin is grand with it usually, so hopefully it will clear up after changing.

Thanks guys :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hormones can play a large part with acne.

That's why so many women get acne well past their teens - even into menopause.

Has something changed with regard to hormones - a pregnancy or a new birth control pill as examples.

You might want to speak with your family doctor to start on a pill that will help curtail acne.

No hormone changes at all.I thought it was coffee as it went after I gave it up for a while, and then it came back again out of nowhere after a few months... It is still fairly bad, so, I am not sure what it is. Will go to the doctor when funds allow. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

arent pan stick foundations very thick? i wouldnt blame it on the diet change if it is a good one, although your body may be adjusting if it isnt use too the change. Like the above said- hormones play a huge role in formation of acne and even though you may not feel a change in your hormones doesnt mean they arent fluctuating.doctors is the best bet id say

What's your diet like?  If it isn't hormones, it could very well be a part of your diet.  Even bang lengths can cause it under various circumstances.

hmm.. I think, there are some strong chemical ingredients from Max Factor Pan Stick that causes your sensitive skin to react that way. For me, I always recommend cleaning your pores before sleeping because that causes acne build ups and I often use natural remedies to prevent excessive reaction of skin. Hormones could also be a factor but then, it was very obvious that when you changed your foundation your skin went bad. If i have dry skin, I use lotion in my face for twice a week to keep the moisture and then you also use a water-based moisturizer.

Ah...I had a feeling it was Pan Stick, but it is just such a good foundation :'(

Most foundations I use just don't match me, and pan stick makes a great match.

It is a shame it is too harsh.

It very well could be the foundation you switched to. I had the same problem and switched to Estee Lauder and my skin improved greatly. I found great information on how to clear your skin on InWithSkin :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm using a really good acne wash. OXY clinical facial wash is really good. Even when I'm stressed out if helps. I would try their whole line of clinical if I had the money.

Well Emmy1 as it is a obvious problem in this age but it can be controlled by proper care and treatment. This skin problem cann't be cured completely but it just can be treated by most suitable available care. You know there are various products in market that you can used but according to your skin type.
