okay so i bought this stuff a month ago and i said i'd wait a few weeks before reviewing so here goes. so this is the product except at the store its actually 48 dollars for 2 ounces
Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation
it's not thick at all; i hate thick creams and would never wear one. Its thin, it's white, it disappears right into skin. I bought this for the purposes of getting rid of old acne marks because i am taking a break from my Mamas lotion and am doing my MUAC peel maybe like 2-3 times a month. This stuff can be used everyday. It doesn't feel like anything but its chock full of AHA kojic acid, fruit acids, Vit. C etc.
I cleanse, tone, then put on my Sheer Transformation. It serves as a moisturizer as well as treatment so when i'm just bumming at home, its my last step. It makes skin slightly oily no doubt but strangely i wake up with a face that isn't oily. If i'm going out i need sunscreen and mattifying moisturizer so i put on my CO Biigelow Extra Light with SPF after the Sheer transformation.
So these are the results...
!) It brightens/lightens skin - not a ghastly way... in a great way... like it seems to do that thing where it brings you back to the skin tone you were when you were a kid before all the pollutants and stress got to your face. I wasn't really looking for this effect but its nice. I'm glowy. this is probably the biggest 'effect'.
2) Makes you "poreless". my mom has been using this too (I gave her a big sampling of this) and a few days ago she called me and she was beaming because her hot and much younger male co-worker told her she had beautiful skin, LOL, my mommy is so cute.
My mom had crazy large pores on certain parts of her face and they seem to be "gone".
3) Can serve as a good foundation primer.
4) anti-anging - It totally softens!!!
5) Has broken up this one large cluster of redness i had my cheek that i could never seem to get to fade out even with Mamas into some scattered small red spots... some areas completely faded.
6) I think it balances skin but it has not helped in eliminating breakouts on the lower part of my face that happen around the time of my period. i think i'm doomed to have those forever,
okay so all in all its great stuff. I'm 25 so I don't think i appreciate this stuff as much as i could if was 10 years older and that what my mom told me (who is soooo in love with this, LOL). anyway, i think its great stuff
