Okay, for my skin care routine I wash my face in the morning and I've recently started using apple cider vinegar on my face after I wash it, I then moisturize it with Vaseline and apply my make up. At night I wash my face (with the same product) it also removes make up, apply the ACV and moisturize.

Questions:

Should I use ACV both morning and night or just morning?

What is a better moisturizing product for my face?

After I apply the ACV my face is red for a bit but goes away, is this normal?

Uhm I seem to have forgotten the rest of my questions, if I remember them I will post them

as i'm not using and never tried ACV, i'm afraid i won't be of much help. i guess it depends, but if you say your skin goes a bit red after you applied it, it might be a sign it's too harsh for your skin.

personally i'm not a big big fan of vaseline on the face, i find it too greasy. i prefer milky face moisturizers. depending on your skintype and how much you're willing to pay for one, there's plenty on the market.

i also like to do harsher cleansers (scrubs, masks) at night and apply a good moisturizer. that would be the time when i'd use vaseline because i know my ski nwould have the whole night to absorb it.

i went to my doctor about my skin awhile ago and mentioned using ACV on my face and she laughed at me. She really didn't recommend it. I remember reading up on it, and I'm pretty sure the redness is normal. I don't think you should use it twice a day though, as I also read it can be a little harsh.

I tried APPLE CIDER, it's not for me. It made my face red. I should have diluted it more.

I was using it pure, yesterday I tried diluting it and it didn't make my face red this time.

I've been hearing alot about using ACV. Please let us know if this works for you and at what dilution. Very interested in trying it out.

- I have personally used ACV, and it is a great toner, in my opinion. You can use it morning and night, but honestly, you might want to use it at night because of the smell and all -- you might not want it possibly interfering with your make up or something. You can either use it straight on your face, or dilute it with water which is more gentle

-Complex 15 is a great moisturizer, and highly recommended. It isn't easily found in stores, but it is always in stock at drugstore.com and places like that. I also recommend the Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizers, they are nice.

After I apply the ACV my face is red for a bit but goes away, is this normal?

-Yes, it is bound to be irritating as it is acidic.

No no no!

ACV is very potent, it's acid! You must dilute it with water in a 50/50 formulation or thereabouts and only use it once a day if not less!

Redness is not normal, don't ignore your skin's messages. Irritation/redness is not a sign that it's working, it's a sign of irritation or you could be actually damaging your skin. If you use it properly, taking your precautions you could see great results with it. Also, don't use any other exfoliant with it, especially chemical. Be careful, ACV is very strong and you could end up burning your skin.

HTH!
