hi guys... i read in a website that you could use vaseline as a undereye moisturiser but on another site, it says not to use it as it was bad... i`m really low on cash so i`m seriously considering it... thanks lots!

I read somewhere that using thick creams and the sort isn't good for the delicate skin around the eyes. But I don't know for a fact if whether or not it's actually bad. Hopefully someone else will know the exact answer to this, lol.

Quite a few people on this forum are using vaseline and think its great! give it a try and see if you like it for yourself. i used it round my eyes for two weeks and they felt alot softer! I think vaseline is always gonna be a thing people either love or dont, theres always good and bad talk about it.

Thanks for the link Leony! Tyra Banks uses it, doesn't she? It seems to be working for a few MUTers. I haven't tried it though.

Paula Begoun says not to purchase a separate eye cream from a face cream. Eye cream is only a bit more concentrated but is essentialy the same formula.

To me, vaseline is really greasy. I want a product that actualy sinks into my skin, not just sits on it. Plus I can't stand the smell.

Olay Regenerist consistently wins top honours in polls and surveys. Wash face first, right after apply the face cream all over skin, including eye area. This way,

cream will both moisturize and retain the moisture in skin.

I heard vaseline works ok on dry skin, but I have oily skin and it's not for me.

I like Aveeno, Olay and Neutrogena(the one with copper).

and I have to agree with cyw1, I can't smell the smell of vaseline!

I once had a friend that rubbed it all over after her shower.... including her face. Her skin was clear and soft. I have never tried it myself but let me know!!

I have been using vaseline on my face every night for almost a year now. My eye area is no longer dry and my makeup goes on great. I really recomend trying this!!

i use vasaline as a night eye cream and never had a problem with it.

it seems like it would be too thick though to use during the day time like under makeup and stuff.
