Hello everyone!

I went to a salon on Jan 21st. for my eyebrows. I'm absolutely clueless about how to keep my line looking good and everytime I tried, I f***ed the whole thing up :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> ... The lady said I had strong hair. She did my eyebrows. I came in with a mono-brow (almost) and left with what I felt like the nicest eyebrows ever. Anyway, I LOVED it. So, as I was waiting to pay, I asked her a couple of questions. "So, when should I come back? You see, I have the BAD habit of plucking every little hair I see, even if its not completely out yet...So here comes the redness and all that." "Ohh, I see. Well, one thing I can tell you is this: if you pluck one hair here another one there well, you'll end up with uneven hair. It takes a month for a hair to be at its full length, so plucking here and there you'll end up with 2 series of hair one that's at full length and the other that's half way out."

So, my problem is this: I look like a monster with my eyebrows right now! What do I do?? Here's the picture, the top pic is when I came home after (Jan 21st) and the bottom pic is this morning.

I'm worried I'll start picking the tweezers again... Bad bad habit here.

Thanks for reading!

Any suggestion/tip/advice is more than welcomed!

I couldnt wait for that long to pluck my eyebrows..i pluck mine like every second day..and it only takes like 3 minutes cause there are only a couple of hairs....i could never have so many hair growing out and not pluck em...

I think you should go back to the salon and talk to the lady who did your eyebrows. Ask her what she thinks of them and maybe she'll be able to do them again?

yes, do that. i'm sure she can fix them and teach you how to do them right. you can also use a brow pencil to redefine them a bit.

I'm also useless at doing my own eyebrows, and here is what I suggest. Get them done exactly how you like them, and then pluck the hair that is much shorter than the rest, because it's what is growing back. Then, as soon as you start to lose the basic 'shape' of the brow, go back and get them done proffessionally again :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks for all your advice guys!

I managed to get rid of the extra hair, but I didn't touch the rest, just what wasn't supposed to be there. I didn't venture any further because that's when I ALWAYS get into deep trouble. I'm going to go to the salon in the next week or so...

Thanks again!

i'd go for a touchup every two weeks. that should be enough to keep your brows in shape.

Unless you want to end up with pencil thin eyebrows, STOP before it's too late. Go back to the salon. Brows take a really long time to grow back in ( I know it doesn't seem that way now LOL) once you have over-plucked.
