What do you do when you have something big coming up? I mean do you do a ritual with your makeup or anything? Are there certain things like stuff you do so you don't look tired, so your face is in tip-top form for that day? Anything????

For a big day, I try and get lots of sleep, but it's always impossible because I'm super excited about whatever is going to happen. I try and do new hairstyles, but that never works out either. Most of the time when I plan for big days, I seem to ditch it at the last minute.

I'll practice new makeup looks ahead of time (if I want to try a new look) so that I'm not super-stressed on the day of. I try to get as much sleep as possible (hah!) and eat well. If I start getting anxious, I do some deep breathing exercises. Oh, and in the lead-up to the big day, I try to be perfect with my skincare.

Hhhmmmm...I also try to get enough sleep. But. also I usually give myself a facial a couple days before. Not THE day before in case there is any redness or irritation, and I pay special attention to my eye makeup.

Um...pretty much just try to get enough sleep - which never ever happens if I'm excited about something. Other than that, I try not to plan things too much because that never usually works out either.

Lot's of sleep....ya right. Do microderm the night before, and use my new hightlighting pen especially around my eyes, and bronzer.

for me it's water, water, water for a couple of days before a big event. my skin seems to dehydrate very quickly as i get older and can look dry and chalky instead of dewy and moisturized. i want to be radiant for all special occasions.

Try to get a good night's sleep

Have a facial or microderm treatment days prior

Do something special with my hair

Allow plenty of "gettin' ready" time

Hmmm... I normally just spend more time than normal making extra sure I look good...

:dito:

I usually don't try anything new on that day, but will try it out several days prior (whether it be new MU look, hair style, etc). I tend to eat up extra time just doing normal things on that day, so my hubby gets me started WAY earlier... lol :rotfl:

It depends.. I usually try to get more sleep a few days before, plan on what I am wearing, makeup etc. I exfoliate and use a moisturizing mask the night before to make my skin glowy.

I try to prepare everything I need the night before, then I make sure that I get to bed early so I can get plenty of rest. I want to make sure that I feel good and that I'm well rested before I start the day.
