1 blade or 3?

I heard somewhere that one blade actually gives you a closer shave then three...all that three does is prevent you from cutting yourself as much. I shave *down there*, and I have used 3 blades, but I always hav stubble, and it bothers me, so I was thinking of just using one blade instead?

Any idea if that's true? That one is better for a closer shave than 3 or 4?

My razors have 2 blades and I like them. I did use a single-blade razor once (just for my legs), and I did find it much easier to cut myself...

I always slice and dice myself with 1 blade. I have to use 3. But I have noticed that when I use 3, I don't get as close a shave, but that's ok cause cutting myself REALLY hurts!

Personally, I get a MUCH better shave with three blades. I use the Gillette Sensor3, and LOVE it!

I also don't use 1 blade, because I always cut myself. I use 3 blades.

Do yourself a favor honey, and NEVER use a one blade razor ever again. Here is my reason.......I used one one time and cut my ankle so bad that I thought I was going to pass out in the shower from too much blood loss. Not to mention I still have a scar from it and that happened 6 or so years ago! Try a 3 bladed razor, maybe the Gillette Mach 3. It is a man's razor. Works fabulously.

I use 3, thats what you usually find in stores anyways. I prefer it to one. Not that I havent sliced and diced myself also with 3, but the brand I use (Schick Extreme 3) havent caused me problems. I dont understand why they have razors with 5 blades now, I mean will it end, lol.

3 blades, it's been so long since I've used a single blade razor I can't really compare but I do know that I've NEVER cut myself using 3 blades.

I use a 2 blade and when I've used 1 blade I always cut myself. I bought single blades for my husband once on accident and he had so many cuts he refused to shave again until I got him different razors.
